Eli Harel is director of center operations for the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute, where she manages the overall operations portfolio of the center, oversees the workflow and supervision of the operations team, designs and implements center-wide procedures and systems to improve operational work, and collaborates with center leadership to proactively track and meeting operational goals. Before joining Urban, Eli served as senior award and finance manager at Save the Children, overseeing a varied and complex portfolio of federal and private funding. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in international relations, German, and Spanish, and a she holds a master of public administration degree from Rutgers University.
