Matt Rogers is senior director of strategy in the executive office at the Urban Institute. In addition to overseeing Urban’s strategic planning, he partners with leaders across Urban to advance institutional priorities and promote equity in Urban’s work and workplace. Rogers has managed several policy initiatives, including the Equity Scoring Initiative (with PolicyLink), the US Partnership on Mobility from Poverty, and Urban’s Next50.

Previously, Rogers was deputy political director at ActBlue, a political nonprofit. A graduate of Brandeis University, he has a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.

Rogers is a member of the board of directors for ActBlue Charities.
