Nina Russell is a research assistant in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. She is also a member of the Disability Equity Policy Initiative. Some of her research interests include the DC metropolitan area, public housing, educational equity, accessibility in community spaces, and disability policy.

Russell graduated with a BA in sociology from Occidental College.
