Rachel Lamb is a research analyst in the Center on Education Data and Policy at the Urban Institute, focusing on PK–12 education policy issues. Before joining Urban, Lamb worked at the Kinder Institute for Urban Research as a research assistant with the Houston Education Research Consortium and interned with the US Department of State as part of the Race, Ethnicity, and Social Inclusion Unit.

Lamb received her BA in social policy analysis and sociology from Rice University.
