Shubhangi Kumari is a research analyst in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute. Her research focuses on participatory methods, community development, housing, and education. Her methodological skills include community engagement, qualitative and quantitative research methods, psychometric instrument design, survey research, program evaluation, and consultations on centering equity in research and communication. Before joining Urban, Kumari worked on gender and sexuality research and surveys for measuring and improving educational outcomes in international contexts. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and applied statistics from the University of Michigan.
