Los Angeles County Women’s Needs Assessment: Survey Findings and Opportunities for Impact
Body

In 2020, both the City and County of Los Angeles identified “unaccompanied” women experiencing homelessness as a unique group among people experiencing homelessness, and the county commissioned a county-wide women’s needs assessment. In fall 2022, nearly 600 women experiencing homelessness completed surveys intended to capture information about their experiences, barriers to housing and shelter, and what they are looking for in housing and the homelessness response system.

Please join Urban Institute experts and national and local leaders on women experiencing homelessness for a conversation about the findings from the Los Angeles County women’s needs assessment, as well as programmatic and policy implications.
